Introduction
PDF files are the most significant software development in the print/repro industry in the last five years.

They are the safest way of sending digital artwork to printers. At Language Travel Magazine, we actively encourage clients to supply all adverts in this manner.

Why?
They embed all your native application information (fonts, graphics, effects, etc), creating one reliable file for final output.

A PDF file is produced which is approximately 80% smaller than the original, without any noticable loss in quality. PDF files are device independent and so cross Macintosh, PC and UNIX platforms without affecting the appearance of the document.

As well as these convenient factors, PDFs also save you time and money because you will not have to produce films and you can email pdf files in seconds because of the small file size, bypassing expensive couriers.
