New members and workshop package for IALC

16 January, 2014

The International Association of Language Centres (IALC) has unveiled two new members as well as details of a package in tandem with ICEF for its 2014 Workshop.

IALC and ICEF have teamed up on logistics and marketing so that agents and institutions have the option of attending both the ANZA (Australia New Zealand Agent) workshop, taking place in Sydney from 6-8 April, and the IALC 2014 Workshop, which follows in Brisbane from 10-13 April.

Agents can also apply for fam trips to Sydney, Cairns and Gold Coast & Byron Bay between the two events, as well as fam trips to Adelaide & Perth, Melbourne, Gold Coast & Byron Bay, Auckland & Whitianga and Christchurch & Nelson after the IALC event.

A joint release from IALC and ICEF said that the link-up would allow agents to achieve several business objectives in one cost-effective trip, including in-depth visits to the major destinations of Australia and New Zealand, face-to-face meetings with providers from the ANZA region, meetings with accredited providers worldwide and professional development seminars at both events.

Meanwhile, Excel English, based in London, UK, and established in 1989 by Principal Judy Loren, has been accepted as a new member of the association along with Cairns College of English in Australia.
