In a company statement, A2Z said that private investors had chosen to establish a language school in response to the growing need for English language tuition in the country, where a recent poll found that 90 per cent of the population believed English was important to improve job prospects.

The A2Z International Franchise brand, led by Director Nick Cartmell, offers a franchise development programme and training package. James Taylor, Founder of the company, said, “Nick has closely overseen our development programme to provide the Yemen franchisees with a proven, results-driven structure which will allow them to grow their new business. We believe this is a key reason why we are the first UK company to franchise an English language school in Yemen.”

Taylor added, “Our teaching method is highly successful and revolves around a structured programme of conversation with competent native-English speakers in the classroom and at social events. This unusual methodology is a great marketing tool and will help attract new students to the school in Sana’a.”

Established in 2006, A2Z School on English has two UK centres, in Manchester and London, and a school in Dublin.
