Embassy English to open new London school

14 July, 2014

Embassy English, the language school brand operated by Study Group, has announced the opening of a new Central London school in the UK, with lessons due to commence from September.

The new Embassy English school, based at the University of Law, London

Located at the London Bloomsbury campus of the University of Law, near the British Museum and popular areas such as Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Soho, the school will feature technology-integrated classrooms with Wi-Fi, a computer lab, library access and an on-site café. Accommodation will be offered at the Mansion Lock residence in Camden.

A range of programmes will be offered at the new Central London school. Across its five existing centres in the UK, Embassy English currently provides courses including General English, Business English, Language Year Abroad, one-to-one lessons and preparation programmes for the Ielts and Cambridge exams.

Jean Vernor, President of Embassy English, said, “Embassy English students will greatly benefit from the premier facilities and surroundings of the University of Law campus, with great residence options and many of London's top attractions all nearby.”

Commenting on the reasons for the expansion and the choice of location, Vernor said, “For years our agents and students having been asking about an Embassy English centre in Central London. In assessing the Embassy footprint for long-term growth, we felt it was important to add a Central London location to our portfolio to meet this demand. Students interested in learning English in London will now be able to choose between our Greenwich and our Central London schools – each offering a great learning experience in very different parts of the city.”

As well as the UK centres, Embassy English has schools in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
