Upon successful completion of the Oncampus SUNY University Transfer Program, students can progress into the second year of a degree course at one of SUNY’s 64 college campus locations. The first students will be enrolled in January.

Oncampus SUNY is part of CEG’s global FoundationCampus brand and is the second university pathway programme for the group in the USA, adding to the original partnership with Wheelock College in Boston, which was established in September 2012.

Leslie Crosley, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management at Morrisville State College, which offers undergraduate programmes, said, “Morrisville State College is proud to be partnering with CEG in this exciting venture. We know the international students who join us through Oncampus SUNY will receive a warm welcome from our students, faculty and community.

“The College is an ideal setting for international students to acclimate to higher education in the United States.  We are proud to offer students a great start and whether they transfer on to other partnering campuses or stay right here at Morrisville, their education will be second to none.”

Fergus Brownlee, Chief Executive of CEG, said, “This is an opportunity like no other for students to experience an authentic American university life in the heart of New York State, while simultaneously building their abilities to be successful at an American institution.”

He added, “Oncampus SUNY is specifically designed to benefit international students through growth of their university and academic skills as well as to advise students on the US university application process. Through the Oncampus SUNY program at Morrisville State College, students will be prepared to progress to any of the State University of New York’s campuses, the nation’s largest state university system.”

CEG was established in 1952 and has been offering university foundation programmes since 1985. The group also provides English language, academic colleges and creative arts programmes.
