ABC Languages, a family-run school based in Cambridge, UK, has launched a new dedicated Group Study Holidays (GSH) brand and website, building on recent growth in this area of provision.

Director of ABC Languages, Ben Whittaker, said, “Group Study Holidays isn’t new; we’ve been welcoming groups to our school in Cambridge for years, and now we’ve decided to launch a dedicated GSH website and step-by-step video to put all the important details and key selling points in one place.

“We know that the welfare of students is an important consideration for all involved – agents, parents, students, especially juniors – and we hope that our new GSH brand shows how we incorporate this into every aspect of our programmes.”

Demand for group study has grown substantially in recent years, said Whittaker, especially from groups of high school students looking for short stays in Cambridge, and the company has created the GSH product to respond to this.

Marketing Manager, Heidi White, explained what the new brand means for ABC: “What we offer through our GSH programmes breaks down to a short list of priorities – the positive points that underpin everything we do, to ensure that every single group benefits from their time in Cambridge. This includes: ensuring a high level of personal contact and service throughout; providing competitively priced, tailor-made packages; and striving for consistently high welfare, safeguarding and teaching standards with ABLS Accreditation and Travel-Safe.

ABC Languages was established almost 30 years ago by Lesley Whittaker and also offers services including general, specialist and academic English programmes, non-English language training for individuals and corporations and an international summer school for juniors and families.
