IHWO launches partner agent scheme

29, October, 2014

International House World Organisation (IHWO), which manages and supports the global network of IH schools, has launched an agent partner scheme to recognise its network of trusted agent partners.

The new initiative, which will be officially launched at ICEF Berlin this weekend (November 2-4), aims to acknowledge agents that support the organisation and its 158-strong membership (50 of which are study abroad schools that work with agents), with a view to fostering more long-term partnerships.

Lucy Horsefield, COO at IHWO, said, “Working as a team with our agents is very important to us at International House, since we know that a trusted agency is in a better position to inform and prepare students for what to expect from our schools.”

To join the scheme agents must meet a specific set of criteria. This includes operating as an agency for at least three years and sending students to at least three IH Schools within the past 12 months. Agents must also abide by the IH Partner Agent Code of Conduct and License Agreement.

In return, members of the agent partner scheme benefit from IHWO’s reputation in the language teaching industry and its support and help with promotional activities. Agents will also be eligible to use the official IHWO Partner Agent logo on any promotional material and be included in the partner agent’s directory on the IHWO website giving them more online visibility. In addition, agents based in the location where one of the IHWO roadshows is taking place will automatically be accepted to take part.

“We are pleased to now officially recognise those partners who work with several IH schools around the world and with whom we have built up successful long-term relationships,” added Horsefield.

IH Partner Agent status is valid for two years, with agents invited to renew the agreement after validity has expired. For more information about the scheme please visit www.ihworld.com/partneragent.
