SIS Education Group, a provider of English language, sixth form and pathway programmes in the UK and North America, has rebranded as Oxford International Education Group.

Founded in 1991 by Owner-Directors David Brown and Robert Darell, the group has grown in recent years through investment in product ranges and education facilities.

“This growth has seen ISIS develop a number of complementary brands, each well recognised in its own right – Bucksmore, Homelingua, Oxford Tutorial College and Pathways being four examples,” said the company in a statement.

“We consequently feel than now is the right time to being in a new ‘umbrella’ brand, which will act to unify all our divisions under one strong name.”

The new name of Oxford International Education Group was chosen to maintain the strong links with the city of Oxford, from where the name ISIS was originally taken and where the group has its largest educational hub, including an A-level college, foundation programmes and English language courses.

The ISIS brand will be retained as the name for the English language division, including ISIS Schools and ISIS Junior.

“We are very enthusiastic about the continued opportunities that are present in our industry, and equally excited by our growing team of strong, high-calibre staff, who will, we are sure, help us achieve our ambitious and exciting plans,” said the company.
