Ireland-based provider Atlantic Language Galway has expanded with the addition of a new facility in the heart of the city.

Located adjacent to the school’s original building on Fairgreen Road, the new centre has 14 classrooms, with the first floor of the building providing views over the Galway Bay, “offering students an exciting and spacious place to learn English”, the company said.

The new facility has a student lounge with a modern café and restaurant on the ground floor, and is within a short walk of amenities including local and national transport links, cafes and gyms.

Managing Director of Atlantic Language Galway, John Daly, said, “Due to the growth of family and junior programmes in Galway, I am delighted to announce a new modern, bright and purpose-built facility in Galway city centre equipped with all the latest interactive technology for language learning. We look forward to welcoming students from all over the world.”

Atlantic Language Galway is also offering new luxury apartments in the city centre, within two minutes’ walking distance of both school buildings.

The school has also announced new features for its junior programmes for 2015. The Galway Junior Summer Programme will include afternoon classes focussed on project work incorporating practical English skills, including social media, photography projects and blog posting. There will also be a chill-out room available for students with wi-fi and games, and a new full-day water sports excursion in County Galway featuring paddle boarding and kayaking. Meanwhile, students at the Dublin junior summer centre will now have access to a swimming pool with a qualified lifeguard.
