Residential camp provider Xplore has launched a new China language camp in Shenzhen for 2015, with both English and Chinese language programmes available.

Camps will be based at Fuyuan School, situated at the foot of the Tiger Mountain in the Baoan district of Shenzhen, a city of 15 million people in the Guangdong Province of South China. Xplore will utilise the teaching facilities of the “state-of-the-art” FEC Cambridge International Centre at the school.

“The three-week ‘all inclusive’ programme is designed to fully integrate all students in both Mandarin and English language lessons; this helps support and assist one another’s language learning in a practical and active environment,” said Xplore in a company statement.

Facilities at the centre include electronic libraries, Chinese and Western restaurants, a multi-gym, a cinema and extensive sports facilities. Students will be accommodated in four-to-six-bed rooms with wifi, air conditioning and laundry facilities.

Day and evening activities in the programme include: archery, sailing, kung fu, horse riding, dragon dancing and calligraphy, along with excursions to Hong Kong, Shenzhen Bay Park, theme parks and an overnight trip to Beijing.

Xplore rebranded from its former name of KG Adventure last year, and offers camps in the UK, USA and Germany. The company opened an office in Shenzhen in October 2013.
