UK-based language and teacher training provider NILE has announced the opening of a new centre in Manchester from July, adding to its original centre in Norwich.

The NILE Manchester centre will be located at INTO Manchester’s premises at Bridgewater House, with features including computer suites, free wifi and an extensive library. Residential accommodation is provided a short walk away. Nile is part of the INTO University Partnerships group.

From July, NILE Manchester will offer nine professional training courses including Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and Teaching English to Young Learners (TYL).

Sarah Mount, Business Development Director at NILE, said, “Opening a new teaching centre in Manchester will both complement and build on everything that we have achieved in Norwich over the past 20 years, and we are very excited about offering course participants the choice of two very different study locations in the UK.

“Our courses will reflect this: we have re-focused our Manchester programmes to incorporate the northern flavour, and we look forward to welcoming both existing and new clients to NILE’s newest venture.”

In addition to its face-to-face programmes, the school launched NILE Online last year, a range of interactive, tutor-led online courses for teachers and trainers. NILE was established in 1995 and is a member of English UK and Eaquals.
