EC London 30+ moves to new location

International language school chain EC English Language Centres has moved its EC London 30+ school in the UK to Euston House, just opposite Euston Station.

The London 30+ school is the only dedicated over 30 centre within the EC English chain

EC’s Executive Chairman, Andrew Mangion, said, “Due to high demand for our unique 30+ concept, and as part of our ongoing strategy to invest in providing our students with the most modern, stylish and effective learning environments, we’ve decided it’s time to make a change to the location of our 30+ school.”

Due to its relocation from Covent Garden, the school, which is exclusively for students aged 30 years and above, is now in the same building as its sister school EC London and offers students convenient access to all areas of the city and beyond.

The school’s tailored design, like EC’s two other new schools in Manchester and Washington DC, is inspired by the vibrant cultural identity of the surrounding area. The Bloomsbury Group, made up of influential writers, intellectuals and artists who all lived close by in Bloomsbury, is the inspiration of the eight classroom designs. The group included Virginia Woolf, Economist John Maynard Keynes and Novelist E.M. Forster.

The school’s interior also features a lounge-reception area, a fully stocked library and technological resources, including interactive whiteboards, computers with free internet access, Wi-Fi throughout the school and a private study room.

Established in 1991 in Malta, EC now operates 21 schools in the UK, USA, Canada and South Africa.
