Oxford International Education Group has moved its Eurocentres San Diego, USA, centre to a new location, expanding the classroom capacity of the school fourfold.

The new Eurocentres San Diego centre, operated by Oxford International Education Group.

The new Eurocentres San Diego also features state-of-the-art technology in the classrooms and two student lounges.

“Our new location will offer us many advantages over other schools and certainly over our previous location. Hosting four times the capacity, the premises is in an amazing location and boasts an impressive rooftop patio which overlooks the new downtown park and amphitheatre,” said Sharon Curl, Managing Director – North America for OIEG in a letter to the school’s partners.

She added that views from the patio and interior classrooms feature palm and magnolia trees framed by historic and modern architecture and San Diego Bay.

OIEG acquired the San Diego school at the beginning of this year, marking the group’s first foray into the US market after previously purchasing two schools in Canada. All three schools have continued as franchisees of the Eurocentres brand.

The planned move to an upgraded location was outlined by OIEG Co-Owner and Co-Founder David Brown at the time of the purchase.

He also said the school would introduce higher education opportunities with pathway programmes and would offer a range of summer and year-round junior programmes.
