DCI occupies a building fronting on O’Connell Street and Bachelors Walk. As a year-round, adult school, it provides a range of English language programmes, including General English and exam preparation for the Cambridge suite of exams and Ielts.

Declan Miller, Managing Director of HSI, said, “This is a return to my roots, I started in this industry as a teacher and the DOS [Director of Studies] and spent a total of 11 years in the language industry before branching out to the high school area. We have been involved with EFL, however, operating junior summer centres in Ireland.

“DCI will allow us to offer the same level of service and innovation our many international partners have come to expect. We are all very excited at working with DCI to help them develop to their full potential. Existing staff will be retained so there is continuity for existing DCI partners.”

Brian Keenan Hall, Founder of DCI, said, “I was looking forward towards retirement and was interested in working with a partner with a high international profile to ensure the continuation and expansion of DCI. Declan and HSI are perfect partners for this and I can retire now in the knowledge that both the staff and school will continue to grow and flourish.”

Established in 2004, the adult language school is accredited by Acels and is a member of language school association Marketing English in Ireland (MEI). HSI offers high school placements in Ireland, the UK, the USA and Canada.
