May 30, 2013

Alphe Conferences has announced Taiwan as its latest destination, with the inaugural event taking place from February 23, following on from the Alphe Asia workshop in Bangkok, Thailand.

Held at the Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, the tallest hotel in Taipei, the three-day event will feature the usual blend of scheduled 30–minute meetings and networking opportunities including the Directors' Club drinks reception.

Stephanie Helliwell, Alphe Manager, said, "New Felca member IECA has over 100 agencies as members in Taiwan, which makes it one of the biggest study travel agency associations in the world. Many of these agencies also have connections and businesses in mainland China. Alphe are looking forward to working with IECA to bring educators to Taiwan to meet with these quality agencies. "

"Alphe in Taiwan sounds really exciting! We look forward to participating in the first Alphe workshop there," said Anna France, Marketing Director at Langports English Language College, Australia. "Taiwan is a dynamic place and the Taiwanese market has many opportunities and has shown growth for us over the past few years", she added.
