LAL teams up with ELM Education
August 9, 2012
LAL Language Centres has signed a contract with ELM Education to act as an education agent for the company in China. The deal will see ELM sourcing agents and training them about LAL’s products.

Alex Perkins, CEO of LAL Language Centres, said, “LAL has been under-represented in China for too long, so we have teamed up with ELM to partner with us for both inbound and outbound operations. ELM has strong credentials in educational management in China as well as in the UK, and while we confidently predict a significant increase in Chinese students and Chinese teachers travelling to LAL centres in 2013, we are also looking into the potential for sending students to China in the not too distant future.”
Shaun Carver, CEO of ELM Education, said, “ELM is very pleased to be working in partnership with the LAL Group in providing Chinese youth and adult learners with the opportunity to experience the variety of fantastic programmes offered through the LAL Language Schools, and Summer Language Camps, around the world.
“Having spent the last week visiting the year-round schools in London and Torbay, as well as having met their staff and students at several of their summer school locations, we are very confident that LAL will be very appealing to the Chinese market. Unlike many of the current options available to Chinese learners, LAL’s programmes offer a truly international environment in which to study, learn and exchange ideas.”
ELM Education has been providing educational programmes, services and consulting to educational institutions for over ten years, and is currently welcoming enquiries from Chinese agencies interested in the products offered by LAL, which has centres in the UK, USA, South Africa and Malta.
