Foundations for onward study

The cost of a foundation programme or academic preparation course may put some students off, but experts in this field point out the value of culturally-appropriate study techniques that such courses provide. To prevent students dropping out of higher education overseas or failing to achieve their full potential, a preparatory programme is advised.
