Spain sprinting
Business has been brisk in the outbound Spanish market with government grants to fund English study abroad certainly helping to boost the demand for language courses overseas. Our Agency Survey of 15 companies shows an impressive average business growth last year of 43 per cent, and also reveals that as well as language courses, internships and work& travel programmes were a niche business sector for agencies. The UK remained the most popular destination followed by Ireland, but Ireland is rapidly gaining market share. Read more in our July issue of Language Travel Magazine.
