People on the move

Dirk Mulder has moved into the position of Director – Murdoch International at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. Mr Mulder brings with him 11 years experience in education; six in international education. He was previously Deputy Director at Murdoch International and held an elected position with Perth Education City.
WYSTC was held in New York this year and Language Travel Magazine staff, Amy Baker (left) and Nicola Lutz (right) got right into the American vibe at Battery Park.

The staff at Rennert Bilingual in New York had an extra reason to be happy with their participation at WYSTC – they won a free table at an Alphe workshop in our Spot the Difference competition! Eimear Harrison (centre) was the lucky delegate, pictured with colleagues including Cesar Rennert (right).

BETA organised a night out for members last week to see Eurobeat – the Musical, a show mimicking the Eurovision Song Contest. The audience voted for Russia to win, and Beta members (Stewie Tuckie, left and Emma English, right) had the chance to meet the Russian “band” after the show.
