Saudi Arabian student numbers were up in Canada, according to the results of our 2009 Status Survey of Canadian schools. This nationality was in third place of top nationalities in the country, making up eight percent of total student numbers. Other top nationalities were Korean (19 per cent of the total) and Japanese (14 per cent). Marketing spend on agents by schools decreased this year from 45 per cent in our previous survey to 41 per cent this year.
